what he/she did before reign?egbert spent 13 years in france because he was exiled by Beorthric(reigning king at the time).
how he/she did to become king? He seized the throne after the king died because he was of royal blood.
Biggest accomplsihment? egbert invaded mercia and drove wiglaf the king of Mercia into exile. He became king of london mint and many people called him bretwalda meaning wide ruler or britain ruler.
War involved?The battle of ellendun egbert exiled king sigered and Beomwulf tried to recover his lordship of east anglia.He was slain and his sucessor as well was killed Ludeco. Egbert seized property belonging to canterbury. He increased Saxon power in the Southeast.
How person died? He died by natural causes/
Why did you chose this person? I chose him becuase he seemed interesitng, mostly his name. He also had an interesting reign as king he killed and conquered. He showed no mercyto his foes and those who defiled him.
